CirroSecure is a company that secures the software that runs in the cloud – Software as a Service. For example, it may be about Dropbox, Google Drive, Box and salesforce.com.
Palo Alto Networks in turn delivers a security platform that ensures the use of all types of software and stopping cyber threats. Many of the software in the cloud is currently used by companies to store much of their most important and sensitive data. This makes it important also to those covered by security platform.
– The purchase of CirroSecure gives us access to unique technologies and expertise. Their solution for security software in the cloud expands our platform, already used by 24,000 customers. We make it possible for the company to use such software as part of their IT infrastructure without having to worry about security. The new addition allows our security platform becomes even more extensive and powerful, says Lee Klärich, Senior Vice President of Product Management at Palo Alto Networks.
