MICROSOFT: EVALUATE BID FOR SALES FORCE

STOCKHOLM (AFX) Microsoft is evaluating the possibility of adding an offer for Salesforce.com after a potential buyer expressed interest in CRM company, said an informed source told Bloomberg News.
Salesforce has taken the help of two investment banks to assess how these advances should be addressed. The company currently has a market value of nearly $ 50 billion.
Microsoft and Salesforce signed last year an agreement to make the two companies' software more compatible.
