ABB nominates FOUR NEW BOARD MEMBERS

STOCKHOLM (AFX) ABB has nominated four new directors to strengthen competence by reason of “the shift of emphasis in the company’s activities.”

It appears in a press release.

The Nomination Committee proposes:

* Frederico Fleury Curado, CEO of Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer

* Robyn Denholm, CFO of networking manufacturer Cisco sektorkollgega Juniper and director of electric car maker Tesla

* David Meline, chief financial officer at US biotech company Amgen, and by 20 years of car giant General Motors

* Satish Pai, vice president of Hindalco Industries, with activities in aluminum, copper, owned by Aditya Birla Group.

“Our four nominees have a huge breadth of experience, particularly in areas that strengthen our Next Level strategy, such as software, services and project management, as well as in emerging markets, where we continue to see opportunities for profitable growth” , says Chairman Peter Voser.

Roger Agnelli leaves the Board. He has been with us since 2002.

It is not clear whether the proposed members have any links with the owners or Investor Cevian, both bought shares in ABB for the 2015th
