Technology company Elektrobit from Oulu to sell its Automotive business, which produces software for cars. The purchaser is the German Continental AG and the business price is EUR 600 million.
In connection with the transaction, changing its name to Elektrobit bittium. The deal should be completed in July.
Elektrobit avrbyter also the ongoing division of the company in that Automotive is German.
After the transaction manufactures Elektrobit, or bittium, only wireless technology.
The shareholders of Elektrobit will vote on the deal in June.
The Centre Party chairman, head of government Juha Sipilä has been the Managing Director of Elektrobit in the early 2000s.
