Wifi channels – PC All

Hello

I know you want to find a channel that clashes as little as possible with its neighbors but how does one do if one uses two wireless devices in the apartment. Should you then select the same wifi channel on both.

The plan is to extend the wireless network by connecting a router to another.

I have read various articles and are still thinking what to do. I have got it to work, but find that speed is so low. It will lower both the default router and the router (which will act as an access point).

The default router is on 192.168.1.1 and has a spread from 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.200

I thought I would add Router 2 at 192.168.1.201 for it not to be no collision with the first. However, I wonder whether both should have the default gateway 192.168.1.1 for it is well ip address to connect to each router that is viktitga. I can also tell that I turned off DHCP on the router second

KTH students translate the software behind Wikipedia – Mynewsdesk (press release)

Wikimedia Sweden organizes November 27th an open event for the students at KTH in order to, inter alia, translate the software that runs Wikipedia from English to Swedish. These so-called translation sprint is a new type of events to further strengthen open source software and free knowledge and reach new dedicated and knowledgeable people. The students will also learn about the huge Wikimedia movement and can make new contacts.

The focus is to translate open source software into Swedish by translation platform Translatewiki.net. Students will be involved in the Swedish translate MediaWiki, the software including Wikipedia uses. Many messages to MediaWiki has already been translated, but it adds thousands of new messages every year that must be translated – and now offered KTH students in to help. While other open source software will be translated by the students of the time and interest.

“This is a new type of events to work actively to engage more students in our projects and give them a new and interesting hobby that really gives them a chance to make a difference. In fact, this is so new that a professor and a graduate student in Umeå is currently researching whether and how this works as a concept, “said John Andersson, Project Manager at Wikimedia Sweden.

Software revealed serious child rape – stepfather sentenced to nine years in prison – Today’s Legal

A 36-year-old man from Linköping been indicted for aggravated rape of his partner of seven and nine year old daughters sentenced to nine years in prison.

36-year-old was unveiled late last year when he stopped in a private USB stick, which he used to store child pornography on, in his work computer. The parastatals man was working on using : a software specifically designed to warn and expose child pornography.

The police conducted shortly after the search of 36-year-old house, which he shared with his then partner and her two daughters were born in 2004 and 2007.
