The launch of the Gas Select COMPOSER TM defines personal flexibility for precision measurement of mixed gases.
Tucson, Arizona (November 5, 2014) – Alicat Scientific has expanded its Gas SelectTM software to include a library of up to 130 preset gases, referring to the NIST Prop 9, and the industry’s first tool for defining the gas mixtures to the current demand at the time of the survey. The launch of the Gas SelectTM 5.0 gives COMPOSER tool user the ability to quickly program and save up to 20 personal gas mixtures directly in Alicat mass flow meter and mass flow controller. COMPOSER allows Alicat’s mass flow meters and mass flow controllers qualify for a range of unique and flexible application and user functions for changing the device properties.
Gas SelectTM software is standard in all Alicat
Mass Flow Meters and Mass Flow Controllers. The extended filbiblioteket in version 5.0 now include up to 130 preset complete gas calibration rings, depending on which of Alicat’s instrument series is selected. Besides many pure gases it contains Gas SelectTM 5.0 a number of mixes that are often used in eg bioreactors, welding, manufacturing, power, cooling and pharmaceutical industry. Filbiblioteket has also been updated to contain the complete NIST Prop 9 gas content of the preset gases and gas mixtures.
A brand new property in Gas SelectTM upgrade is the addition of the COMPOSER module that delivers a new level of customization and flexibility for precise measurement of various and mixed gases. When using the device’s integrated digital display is given the opportunity for the user to define gas compositions down to a concentration of 0.01% of each gas up to five constituent gases. 20 own gas mixtures can be created and stored simultaneously in each unit. Users who controls Alicat’s instruments via the computer can generate gaslistor to multiple devices in seconds with single row RS-232 commands. Personal gas compositions can be added or deleted quickly. Alicat’s instruments satisfy simply different needs for the future of technology in flow measurement.
