CGI, Sweden’s largest IT services company, has signed a five year agreement with Preem, Sweden’s largest oil company, respect operation of business systems, and a complete and service-based card solution. The partnership supports Preem’s overall IT modernization and business development, and gives the company new opportunities to develop and manage features such as loyalty programs and promotions.
CGI will deliver a total solution for Preem card processing. Quick solution is based on CGI’s proprietary software WM-card *, a modular system for real-time management of all types of payment cards that are delivered as a flexible service. The solution supports Preem’s business and gives the company new opportunities to develop, for example, promotions, bonus and loyalty programs.
Preem is facing one of its most extensive IT projects ever, with the aim to modernize the IT environment. The procurement of the operation of a new business, Infor M3, is one of the first phases in which they chose CGI as a provider.

* WM-card contains all the functionality needed for both the card processing at the store level to the issue of own cards for both individuals and businesses. WM-card supports both Visa / MasterCard and clean fuel cards and includes several advanced features like support for the bonus, loyalty and campaign management.
