The software recognizes your movements – New Technology

Sensor Beat named a new software from the Stockholm-based company Imagimob. The program uses data from the motion sensor – accelerometer – sitting in, for example, mobile phones and training bracelets, and makes it possible to identify different movements with great precision.

The algorithms detects and analyzes patterns of movement and can tell if a person is sitting, walking, running, walking up a staircase, falls – or gets an epileptic seizure.

– Digital health is one of the areas we focus on, but we might as well follow a machine’s movements and alert if it moves in the wrong way, says Anders Hardebring, CEO and co-founder of Imagimob.

In a first project collaborates Imagimob with another Swedish development company, Biosync, to map the stress among health care workers. By measuring movements combined with heart rate and sweating, stress level linked to the activity.

In another pilot study examines how the software can be used in a large Swedish industrial companies.

In order to increase marketing and sales efforts have Imagimob brought in three million in new venture capital from Stockholm Business Angels, ALMI and private investors.

– the Internet of things is a hot area and we are well advanced with our technology. Now we hire people and invest in finding new customers, says Anders Hardebring.
