HMS Industrial Networks has signed an agreement to acquire all shares of the Belgium-based company eWON SA. The purchase price amounts to EUR 30 million on a debt free basis, payable in a combination of cash and shares in HMS Networks.
“We see great opportunities to further strengthen our operations and technology platform by gaining access to HMS established development organization and sales channels,” says Serge Bassem, CEO and co-founder of eWON. “We look forward to becoming a part of HMS. Their knowledge of industrial communication will be a great asset for our ongoing development and new technology in the future,” said Pierre Crokaert, CTO and co-founder.

With more than 15 years of experience, eWON a rapidly growing and leading supplier of intelligent , Internet-based routers for remote access of industrial equipment. The company employs 57 people of which 13 are product development engineers. eWON has a worldwide sales network of distributors in 45 countries.
