Platform group is responsible for the development of software for embedded systems Scania.
The software group develops between the application layer and hardware, the purpose of the software is to enable application groups to develop effective features without knowing all the details about how the hardware is controlled. Our systems located in Scania trucks, buses and industrial and marine engines. Development work is conducted in a creative environment with the end customer in focus. The group currently consists of 11 people, we are seeking a development engineer.
Tasks
As a developer with us, you work in a group, which require good knowledge of embedded systems and how they interact with sensors and actuators. You will be working with the software to control and diagnose the various electrical systems present in a control unit in a modern vehicle.
Examples of tasks include:
- Control of injection valves synchronized to engine position.
- Manage communication between controllers in a distributed system
- Measurement and diagnosis of electrical inputs from sensors.
- Functional testing with the debugger on the bench and in the truck
- Implement interface to the engineering system to help techniques to debug our systems.
Your profile
You have an MSc or equivalent with experience of software for real-time systems. Have you worked with safety-critical systems, it is especially meritorious. As a person you are proactive, thorough and good at communicating.
The work requires a good knowledge of C programming, real-time and hardware programming.
You speak English in both speech and writing.
